When designing a business card, you’ve got to keep in mind: Does this convey my message effectively? First impressions are key and that’s precisely what a business card is. Keep your message in your head while designing to ensure it’s conveyed the way you intend.

When first impressions matter, which is almost always the case, you need to stand out from the crowd. Saving a few nickels by going for a lower cost, generic business card isn’t always a good idea. While it may sometimes be a perfect fit for you, generally there’s always a better way to design your card to effectively promote whatever it is you’re promoting. Here’s a few examples of some off the wall designs that have caught our attention.

There You Have It

Some pretty unique and bazaar business card designs, if they can be called cards at all. Judging by your first impression, could you tell what message what was trying to be conveyed? Could you tell what industry each card was representing? These cards are unique and creative but are still effective.
