Customize Your Twitter Background
Twitter is an awesome way to stay updated and who would’ve thought it could be so fun? This quick Photoshop tutorial will show you how to give your Twitter profile a bit of a personal touch. We’re going to show you how to make a custom Twitter background.
I love browsing around Twitter and looking at all of the custom backgrounds, some are clean and professional and some are insanely detailed. A custom Twitter background isn’t as hard to create as you might think.
Before you start:
First off, you’ll want to check what screen resolution the majority of the market is using currently. W3 Schools makes it easy.

As you can see, the trend is starting to move toward larger resolutions. You’ll notice 1024×768 is quickly losing ground as larger wide-screen monitors continue to enter the market. For our purposes, we’re going to use 1280×800 (because it’s what I use =P).
Download our grid:
For now, we’ve only got a 1280×800 grid available. It’s easy to use just open it in Photoshop and edit some of the text or simply use it as a template to design your own! We’ll try to get some more resolution grids up soon!
If you need any help at all or have any questions, feel free to shoot us a comment! We’re more than happy to help!
